Artist's Comments

Just tossing this up because, apparently, I was told to.

Yeah, haven't posted in so long, I forgot where the Submit button was.

Anyway, just some ideas. An eyepatch with glasses is just too weird so it's a goggle/monocle thing.

Nonono...I still need glasses to see, so the eye that isn't covered has a monocle. I thought that since I fail at making things, the goggle part would end up being useless, so it'd work perfect as an eyepatch.

I'm looking into eyepatches at the moment, for a temporary substitute, but so far it's all successfully out of my price range.

I see how it is.

I can't wait for the fleshing out of this character.

The thing that struck me as odd was the sword. But I suppose it will make sense eventually.

It was dumb, just based off a glitch in WoW in which my character still had his sword and shield in hand while destroying traps with a hammer. It looked cool up until the point at which I tried drawing it.

gotta say, monocles usually over-rule D: just because they aren't used enough.

he looks like the kind of guy where if he blew up a building, he'd yawn about it >> but I've been wrong before, that'd just be an interesting type of character XD

actually yeah it's pretty steampunk

The cut's though have look of modern clothes. Remember the Victorian era didn't have much modern fabrics so those clean crisp lines you see in modern fabric isn't so it Victorian but It's also steampunk which is pushing the possibilities of Victorian era technology.
